Ain't nothing like good lighting
Now these are some pretty good aquarium lights that do a pretty good job for either freshwater tanks or for shallow reef tanks. For those doing deeper reef tanks this makes for an excellent foundation to use a retrofit kit and either run VHO fluorescents or Halides and build a light on the cheap that costs far less than purchasing one ready made. As they are they are excellent for most home/small reef/shallow reef or fish only salt tanks and way more than adequate for just about any freshwater applications.
