Gulf coast crustacean Research

We are a small research trust based out of Venice, Fl and Englewood, Fl. We are currently studying micro-crustaceans as well as we have some tank space dedicated to recovering washed up corals from the beaches in our area, bringing as many as we can back to life and then re-planting them in the intercoastal waterway so that we can help restore just a little of the pretty Florida we grew up with. We set up this store to provide some sort of funding for our operations in that it is getting far too expensive to maintain all our tanks and equipment on just the incomes of 2 guys and a handful of volunteers. We are striving to provide you with quality products for your aquarium system. We are willing to help you find whatever you need and if you are not sure what you need, Our Buddy Da Hippie is usually home after 6:30 pm (eastern time) at 941-497-3580 and will usually help you evaluate your needs and point you to the equipment you need (often times pointing you to far cheaper stuff that you can make right from Home Depot). Dont sweat calling him - sometiomes he is grumpy but he is knowledgable in both marine and freshwater systems as well as gravity flo and strictly internal filtration systems - most completely biological with little or no need for chemicals.'
